Spot on, Feebs.

Merv is not a bad loser. He just can't stand the over the top celebratory bollocks. And who can blame him?
First time I've ever seen you write something sensible.

Merv has no-one to blame but himself. His capitulations to Wade and MvG in the Masters and WGP were horrible and have to be properly counted against him. He was excellent this weekend and there is nothing to be held against him for that tonight. MvG played brilliant and needed to in order to win.

You have to give credit to Mervyn King... This is the second time he's glared at a winning opponent in a big final. How stupid they must've felt for being ridiculous enough to celebrate winning a big title!

Merv will be a proud man when he looks back on this one! :)

This should be an inspiration to Michael Smith. You _can_ win a major with high scoring and crap finishing.

This.

Bit gutted for King, can’t see him having too many more opportunities like that to win a PDC major but MVG looked as good as he has all year there.

No on the contrary Gerky is a bad winner....... Any real darts player would be upset by that sort of behaviour.
Balls! That's the least gurning I have ever seen from the green monster.
But King reacted with more gurning the whole way through.
If he concentrated on playing the board and not the opponent might have tipped it.
Not like the guy is difficult to beat these days.

So this post proves you are looking for attention, deserve what you get pal.
Have to say that David needs to seriously look at himself. Frankly have been getting seriously pissed off with the constant reference to this issue derailing multiple threads, however imo Owen is becoming as big an issue.

Crap finishing? He hit about four 100+ outshots in that final.

Not ally pally.

Would get pumped in the first round. Barely beating a player who couldn't manage an average of 100 today. Not even fit to lick Darren Webster's boots.

I don't think anyone moaning about the winning celebration's. It's the celebrations during the game that's uncalled for.

When I watch Price throwing away a result against MVG, am always reminded of this interview with Adrian Lewis.

Can remember both Price & Lewis behaving awfully during that spat and certainly in their interviews before & after, am not sure they're on good terms even now....

Calm down, it was a reference slightly to drupids past problems but more to do with how he was incorrect about the ‘biker’, merv ain’t at the comp with his bike, he is there with his car. I was a tongue and cheek bit of banter.

You chasing me as well now John? I guess if enough of my detractors make enough noise you're bound to cave into them in the end. My darts posts in this thread tonight have been trolled constantly.

That post is utterly innocuous and you know it.

Its a reference to Merv being a biker and Bomber constantly telling us that MvG is finished.
Which he had just proved clearly is far from the truth.
