The two Chinese players should be certs for 3-0 losses particularly given who they have drawn. The Indian I have seen before and he is pretty decent could take a set of West particularly if he does his usual trick of missing loads of doubles. He could also however of course play crap given it’s his debut and get battered.

West same price to whitewash the Indian
Kim H 1/1 to whitewash a Chink
Lowe 11/10 to whitewash the Russian
Lab 8/5 to whitewash the other Chink

What stands out as a good match in the 1st round

It looks a bit meh

Heta vs Baggish
Waites vs Campbell
Joyce vs Sedlacek
Brown vs Meikle
Smith vs Barry

Quickly looking at the draw, I can't see MVG getting troubled until at least the Quarters where he could meet Dimitri.

Aspinall is Price's only real threat to making the semis (maybe De Sousa too).

The other two quarter's look a bit more competitive:

Snakebite has got a potentially horrible looking draw to retain. He could end up with Steve West in the L64, Clemens in the L32, Ratty or Whitlock in L16 then Wade in the Quarters, before possibly Price in the semis.

Heta will easily beat Baggish. Joyce and Sedlacek could be decent as too Smith vs Barry

Not so sure. On his day, Baggish can produce sublime stuff.

Assuming many have been putting money on Keane Barry as his odds are pretty low. Awesome talent but no way should he be as low as he is. Also him and Jeff both 10-11 to win.

Am not tempted to bet until closer to the event. Quite a few can win this time around. Depends who finds it at the right time.
