That's the day they get the trophy back from Wayne Warren to melt down for scrap.

Don't really see them point of them doing this tbh, unless it highlights illegal shifting of assets and/or cash.

Anyone have ideas of accounting reasons to do it?
Are there advantages in having the debt written off via winding up?

It was crystallise the debts as unpaid so they can write off against any profits they are making on the rest of their business and reduce their tax bill.

That can’t be right, Des said it would be ok as he wouldn’t recognise them as creditors.
Or something

It's the last recourse a creditor has if the director's won't put the company into voluntary liquidation. The Offical Receiver will become the Liquidator, who will also look into the conduct of the directors (going back up to 5 years) and see if any transactions should be reversed. The directors may also be held personally liable for any debts incurred while insolvent

Whats been happening with des on social media? Has he gone to ground?

Re thus petition they obviously see some profit in doing this. Maybe the money switched will have to be accounted for and paid out to those seeking it.

The Jacklins look to have abandoned the FB page they started ("Razzle Dazzle Darts"), now just seems to be a spamming site for Phil Barrs to post PDC stuff.
