It's the end of their Worlds, have you no feelings....DavidOwen67 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 11:20 am Good to hear he's on the mend.
Also demonstrates that COVID doesn't even kill those with huge underlying health problems. It's a horrible disease that I lost a second relative to this week (both elderly) but it is not the end of the world.
Most people do survive and many, especially the young barely exhibit symptomsin most cases. Life goes on.

An ICU doctor was on the radio this morning with a ward full of ICU patients all in their 50s and 60s.
So, given that fact what exactly are you saying you would do differently today?

Actually funilly enough the interviewer asked exactly that and he said most yes but they were nearly all quite minor, the two examples he used were diabetes and 'a little overweight' was his exact words , so guess what, if you had been on the ward you would've classed as 'pre existing conditions'....oche balboa wrote:Yes many of them will have underlying health conditionsSkewball wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 11:07 amMost but not all, so what is exactly your point?DavidOwen67 wrote:Good to hear he's on the mend.

So before you jump to conclusions, that could be you in that ward, being dismissed by someone on a forum who just says it's ok because you have a pre existing condition..and you don't look 'a little overweight' to be blunt.

Take care of your vitamine B1, 12, C, D and a slight jog.

Whilst this is extremely unlikely, this is still a dangerous illness.
We going to lockdown and hide from everything until death completely stops? It’s ridiculous.

So with the hospital's full and at breaking point, and unable to do routine operations etc... What would you do today? Lift lockdown ?MrLil8 wrote:Thats just unfortunate, and like with plenty other illnesses and diseases, death does occur. No you wouldn't unless you want people dying in corridors so don't make ridiculous statements.

Reads like both.

Oche being right yet repetitive. Lockdowns will be normal this year, till the first of April at least.
