Yeah a couple of local Bucks players aren’t playing in it because they don’t want to pay a fortune for the hotel when they live minutes away.

Re: Q School 2021
This year’s Qualifying Schools will be split into First Stage and Final Stage, with First Stage being played in two three-day blocks from February 8-10 and 11-13.
Final Stage will then be played from February 14-17, with a total of 29 PDC Tour Cards on offer for players bidding to secure professional status for 2021/22.
The UK Qualifying School has attracted 397 entries, of which 32 players were exempt through to Final Stage. The remaining 365 players will be split into 183 and 182 players for Stage 1A and 1B at the Marshall Arena.
The European Qualifying School in Niedernhausen has 271 entries with 18 players exempt to Final Stage, leaving groups of 127 and 126 players in the two groups for First Stage.
Each venue will produce four players on each day who automatically qualify for Final Stage, with other players being allocated points per game won from the first full round onwards, with 72 players in the UK and 86 in Europe set to progress from the Order of Merit.
The entry lists for Stage 1A and 1B will be confirmed on Tuesday following the completion of a random draw to split players across the three-day blocks. Players will also be contacted by email with further information relating to the operation of the 2021 PDC Qualifying Schools

Re: Q School 2021
I can't believe this is going ahead in these difficult times, it's hardly essential is it.......

Re: Q School 2021
As they say they can only do this by Covid testing everyone and you only enter the event bubble with a clean test result.Paddy McGinty wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 10:13 am I can't believe this is going ahead in these difficult times, it's hardly essential is it.......
Then once in the bubble you have to stay there, hence the requirement you must remain in the official hotel, no going home every evening or going out to get a takeaway in the evenings.
It also seems that if you play pre qualifier 1A you go home after it and then return 3 days later in you get through to the Final but you would be Covid tested again at that point.

Is there a list of Q-School entrants anywhere? I looked a little earlier but couldn't find one.

Hoping Barney bombs and misses out
Re: Q School 2021
Sad day when Keith Carter is not on the entry list, however Suzanne Smith with career earnings of £417 is there.
Hope Fitton and Mitchell get their cards.

Liam Gallagher giving this a shot now that the gig industry is in turmoil. Sensible.
