Apparently forum members accusing Clayton of lying. He did know he was getting s PL spot even thought he said he didn't.

Fine that you don't believe him. But do you believe Clayton?meetthefeebles wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 11:14 pmIf that bloke told me it was raining outside, I'd put shorts, t-shirt and sunglasses on before I left the house.

I think he said it himself. He probably hadn't been told directly, but he knew. It was the most open secret in darts - the whole reason they expanded the field for this event, in fact. Everyone knew, without being told.ChrisW wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 11:23 pmFine that you don't believe him. At the very least, they must have known that a win could possibly have swayed the decision. Coupled with good performance in doing so.

He said it himself in his interview. He thought a win would get him in. Everything thought a win would get him in. Like I said, he looked pleased, but hardly stunned.ChrisW wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 11:53 pmI think Clayton would be the one to doubt it.meetthefeebles wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 11:24 pmI think he said it himself. Caernarvon is about 130 miles North of where Jonny lives in Carmarthenshire.Grim Reaper wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 9:32 amWorks for Caenarfon Council, so every chance he may have been doing something at Caenarfon Castle.
Probably Carmarthen Castle.
