Apparently forum members accusing Clayton of lying. He did know he was getting s PL spot even thought he said he didn't.

If that bloke told me it was raining outside, I'd put shorts, t-shirt and sunglasses on before I left the house.

Fine that you don't believe him. But do you believe Clayton?

I think he said it himself. He probably hadn't been told directly, but he knew. It was the most open secret in darts - the whole reason they expanded the field for this event, in fact. Everyone knew, without being told.

At the very least, they must have known that a win could possibly have swayed the decision. Coupled with good performance in doing so.

I think Clayton would be the one to doubt it.
Given his ranking.

He said it himself in his interview. He thought a win would get him in. Everything thought a win would get him in. Like I said, he looked pleased, but hardly stunned.

Works for Caenarfon Council, so every chance he may have been doing something at Caenarfon Castle.

Can’t begrudge the working man that win. Good luck to him in the premier league.

Caernarvon is about 130 miles North of where Jonny lives in Carmarthenshire.

Probably Carmarthen Castle.
