Believe it when he turns up and actually plays, well known for entering events and tossing them off, also was meant to do the MAD Darts thing and pulled out last minute.

Could be a "last man standing" thing. I wish them all a good game.

might be an interesting event this. especially the 1st one. Taylor will create a lot of interest anyway.

I'd expect the first one to be interesting, but future versions will need to shift to more qualifiers.

It's one thing for darts to be able to be played by players well into their 50s, but it's another thing to be able to deal with the grind of the PDC Pro Tour. The grind leaves space for a less busy senior tour that is still played at a reasonable standard.

Shouldn't you be trolling a radio station you claim don't listen to?

If we're going for finalists then Peter Manley has to be considered.

Still have to accept the invitation, I heard in the Weekly Dartscast podcast.

One of the organisors talked about the event. He has said to the participants that they will have to be willing to train for 3 or 4 hours a day from now on. Wonder how many players that are really going to do that.

He told that the darts championship is gonna be a 4 days event with sets-format. Its gong to be a test wether there is an audience for it, if tv stations are interested and whats the quality of the players that participate and are they willing to train for it. If thats the case, a senior tour will be announced, I understand.

He certainly is...he’s practicing every day! Not for hours and hours, of course, but building it up week by week.
