I think Mardle is the best in the business.

Every other former player will go into generalisations, Mardle will actually tell you how good players are on specific doubles, how their darts lie in the board etc. If a player is playing poorly, he's usually good at analysing what's going wrong with their throwing action.

I accept the buffoonry as a necessary evil for him to keep his job with Sky. 95% of the time, he's really good.
