Who would have thought 2 weeks ago that 18yr old qualifier Emma Raducanu would win the whole US Open tournament, with John Henderson winning the World Cup of Darts. Throw in the European Solheim Cup victory if you wish too...

As much as they love Peter like all crowds, I think you're right. Austria would have been clear underdogs and that would have ensured crowd support.

His British Open win was more important.

:DDD: :DDD:

you are putting an out of shape near 50 year old dart player winning some mickey mouse event to an athletic kid playing an actual proper sport like tennis where she won one of the ranking top majors in the game.

I get it you like darts, but really ?

I dont think anyone cared about the team, in my case I wanted scotland to win only for hendo, since he performed so well and beat price in a singles game,

Had ando been with krusty, i suspect most would have wanted austria to win

To me the most gelled team was Austria and Scotland, Austria had a moment where Mensur gave his back to RJ looking for a fistbump, Scotland won fair and square, great tournament.

Mensur at the time refused to fist bump after he missed 3 darts to win the leg and obviously felt annoyed. The fist bumping is ridiculous anyway.

And to my earlier point, there was NOTHING sympathetic about krusty, as said the it was Hendo that won over the people
