If you cant cobble together 24 men and 12 women for the games over 2 days you should be forfeiting games imo.
Perhaps some players are not comfortable with playing County games.
That doesnt change my opinion. If a football team cant field a team it has to forfeit a game.
Should be similar here. If you can only field 12 men for the A team and 9 for the B team the other team should get 3 wins by default (assuming they arent also short handed).

15.00 MATCHPLAY - PARTICIPATION IN BOTH ‘B’ & ‘A’ TEAMS IN THE SAME WEEKEND
15.01 PLAYERS WITH CONTINUOUS SERVICE TO A PARTICULAR NATIONAL LEAGUE TEAM
a. A player who was registered for the respective National League Team in the previous season will only
be eligible for selection into both ‘B’ and ‘A’ Teams of his or her first UKDA National League match of the
current season if that players last appearance in the previous season was in the ‘B’ Team.
15.02 NEWLY REGISTERED PLAYERS
a. A player who was not registered for the respective National League Team in the previous season will be
eligible for selection into either the ‘B’ or ‘A’ Teams only of his or her first UKDA National League match of
the current season i.e., such a player cannot play in both ‘A’ and ‘B’ Teams.
15.03 OTHER RELEVANT CRITERIA
a. A player winning a Match in the ‘A’ Team cannot be selected for the ‘B’ Team in the following Match in
the current season.
b. A player losing a Match in the ‘A’ Team can be selected for the ‘B’ Team in the following Match in the
current season but cannot also play in the ‘A’ Team of that Match.
c. If an ‘A’ Team player is absent from a match for whatever reason then that player is eligible for
selection into the ‘B’ Team in the Match following the one in which he/she was absent but cannot also
play in the ‘A’ Team of that Match.
d. Once having played in the ‘B’ Team then the terms of Rule 14.01 continue to apply.
15.04 CLARIFICATION OF RULES 15.01 – 15.03
a. The foregoing Rules reduce the risk of incurring penalty points by removing the requirement of a
National League Team to be aware of the previous National League Team appearance records of newly

a. This rule determines that over a match weekend only a set number of players can be named as
Reserves or Substitutes for the ‘A’ Matches.
b. This restricts the number of players who can be promoted from the ‘B’ to ‘’A’ Fixture in a particular
match regardless of how many players may be eligible for promotion.
