Your not far off the money on Brean.

Heard about Selsey few week back, MAD also cancelled there event there in December a few weeks back also didn't they :IIII:
Given nearly every week in summer there seems to be a story on our local news site about the state of the place - making me wonder why absolutely anyone would ever go there - it really wouldn't surprise me.

A popular topic that keeps appearing on the Angry People in Local Newspapers FB page is Pontins in Prestatyn, home of the Welsh Open for many years. Sounds like an absolute dump from the articles tbh.

I believe the Pontins in Southport is even worse than the Prestatyn one.

You're losing your touch old man. See the world seniors thread - post 61 onwards, for ten or twenty posts or so.

I am sure I read that one factor was the regular/permanent caravan owners on there made complaints about the dart weekend.

Same sort of folk who are members of social clubs probably. Moan their arses off when non members are in or anyone who dares buy a drink ahead of them at the bar but then complain when their membership fees go up cos theres no fucker drinks in there anymore.

Also known as "Brexiteers".

Does the darts take over the only social venue on site or are there others? Suspect you are right if it is the former.

Just checked the post. A poster said they weren't surprised at this notice after having talks with private caravan owners over the last couple of years. Didn't go into details.
