Both? There are three.
Re: Development Tour 2021
Rodriguez takes his quarter-final 5-4 in a game where the last 5 legs were breaks, all but one 1 a break in 15 or less, the other a break in 18.1205 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 05, 2021 3:58 pmEven if he didn't win another game, he'd be at least 4400 ahead of the next player. If he wins this tournament, he'll be almost 7000 ahead with only 4 events left.
Beat Zonneveld in the last 64.
Now into the quarters.
That should be OK, either Heldt or Verberk.
Semi-final would be against Gawlas or Nentjes.
The top players seem to be stacked in his (bottom) half.
Will play Nentjes, who beat Gawlas 5-4.
Beating Nentjes could be decisive for the tour win. as Nentjes is the player who can get closest to Rodriguez after this event.

Four actually, the youngest is 15, so we might see him on the development tour in a few years.

Re: Development Tour 2021
Interesting to see the averages from events 1-6 are lower than 7-12 so far.
Re: Development Tour 2021
Fifth DT title for RJR. With a 110 average in the SF.
Re: Development Tour 2021
And the tour winner.
Now the rest of the weekend would just be about earning as much money as possible.
But he seems to have had a bit of a comedown after securing his tour card, with low averages so far in DT10, 2 of 3 games averaging under 70, including a game where he eventually won a 34 dart leg. And it wasn't because his opponent was a complete muppet, they both got to a double OK, just couldn't finish.

'Yes no battenburg' giving Rusty a close game.
Re: Development Tour 2021
Fabian Schmutzler (16) wins a pair of events and secures an ally pally spot.
Was too young to play in the first few development events so pretty impressive to finish second in the rankings.

Think he will now be 2nd youngest ever Worlds competitor moving ahead of Max Hopp. How the world of German darts has changed since he burst on the stage.
