Have just watched it back and now convinced he knew he was on 129, but miscounted after hitting the treble 19 to leave what he thought was 82, going for treble 14 to leave tops, hit a single 14, thought he had 68 left, hence why he went for T20 and hit thinking he had left D4.

Thought Gary was a B+ overall tonight. Again showing his class and bottle to come through a tough Last 16 match.

No doubt for me that Cross's poor record against Gary was a factor in the game,

Looked much more comfortable with these darts compared to the ones he used against Ian White and think Ando will beat Humphries and progress to the Semi-Finals. Will need to up his game again to have any chance of beating Snakebite and/or Price and Michael if he is to become a 3 time World Champion.
