It feels like he’s stinking out the tournament at the moment. But classic Wade - terrific match player that never seems to need the ton+ averages.

Another B+ performance from Gary this afternoon. Overall his finishing was decidedly average, however showed both his class and bottle taking out those multiple ton plus checkouts.

Have to say, he is an amazing darts player getting to the latter stages of such big tournaments, despite being miles away from anything closely resembling his best game.

How would that work?
Perhaps retaining any 2020 Worlds money that they would potentially lose from their ranking amount? Players shouldn’t be penalised because of covid.
Why should it be any different from other illnesses that means players can’t compete ?

Blah blah blah blah
Thinking of one.

Current outright odds:
Price 21/10
Wright 10/3
Anderson 9/2
Mikey 9/2
Wade 7/1
Rydz 15/2

Wade will be fuming with all the stupid bookies dissing his chances.

9/2 for Smith is decent. If he wins tonight, think he wins the whole thing.

It's been said for much of this year, it shows how many of the top players are playing well below their par at the moment. Same last year, he was ordinary at best and was frustratingly terrible in the final.

Strength in depth my ass.

I can’t see the semis and finals improving considerably on quality. I’ve noticed in previous years where there hasn’t been the NYE gap between the semis and final, the second or third day is usually a real drop off.
