Wouldnt have any issue with legends and/or women being handed extra cards tbh, like you say they do it in snooker and they never have all card holders at every floor event anyway so it wont necessitate L256 games having to be played.

They get in 2 TV events via the women's series, plus can be invited to exhibitions like the WSoD.
