https://dartsnews.com/pdc/raman-on-not- ... -important

The World Darts Federation (WDF) World Championship was originally scheduled for early January, but that was moved in late December to early April. Because Raman has now won a Tour Card, he is no longer allowed to participate at Lakeside.

“That room is really iconic, so it's a shame in a way. But if I can choose, give me that Tour Card any day, it's much more important."

I'll post the figures later, but the answer is sales are less than when they pulled the plug in December, but not by much.

Well, if you want to put some positive spin on the above, suppose its good that people didnt ask for refunds en masse....

I would suspect if people booked because their mates were playing on the Sunday and that gets reshuffled to the Saturday that there will be a few unhappy punters about.

It'll be easy to shift people around though.

Ticket sales as of Wednesday night (26th). Does not include any of the hotel+ticket deals as they have not been opened up on the website, so likely an underestimate of about 200 of the number sold. It was 2501 when the plug was pulled in December:

		Seats	Sold	% Sold	Value
Sat	All Day	1394	198	14%	14656
Sun	All Day	1394	158	11%	11216
Mon	All Day	1394	55	4%	4030
Tue	Aft	1394	73	5%	1460
	Eve	1394	62	4%	2264
Wed	Aft	1394	106	8%	2120

Thur	Aft	1394	191	14%	3820

So maybe minus 200 sales in 6 weeks, maybe more as your last count was a few days before they binned it.

Going well.

nowt to worry about, it will be packed if everyone staying there gets a seat - https://www.msn.com/en-gb/travel/news/d ... d=msedgntp

"okay, you can stay in this hotel but you must watch every game and dress up like a cartoon character and join in the chanting, later on your immigration integration questionnaire will include questions about who is the best player and how you would checkout from 103, failure could lead to transfer back to syria or even worse, scotland"

he can't claim furlough any more so he will need bums on seats or 'immigrants in the house' as it's called in the trade, to keep the cash flow going and fund the damn thing

Why let the fact that its a totally different hotel get in the way of a racist diatribe.
