Mission are great.
The one we used for league night on a wed was terrible was fucked after 2 weeks so we went back to a Blade 6.

Unless we got a dodgy one

PDC might use different boards at different events depending which manufacturer is willing to sponsor that particular event.
Having a separate 'equipment' sponsor for events isn't unusual I sport I would have thought.

A fair point - in football alone you have Nike balls in the Premier League, Puma in the Football League and Mitre in the FA Cup

Blade 6 is the best by a mile, we use Mission for super league and county and the only issue I’ve seen is sometimes a hard bullseye, but they’re happy to swap them out.

We used one on the 1st night of superleague and it has been hidden away in the store cupboard ever since. It was like a brick.

Yeah and after 2 weeks worth of games so 36 games and probably about an hours practice both nights it was fucked

Admirable of Unicorn that they want to focus on "removing barriers" into the sport and to ensure "darts can be enjoyed by anyone".

Charging the thick end of eighty nicker for a dartboard that looks fucked after about 5 visits is a real step in the right direction there.

well its a case in my view of maximum profit for minimum investment in research & development , they have had a cornered market ( has the contract for equipment used ever being out to tender before ?) question is why now & who brought this agreement to an end, cant see it being unicorn myself

No I doubt Unicorn issued a tender to end their agreement with the PDC.
That bit is for sure.
