up to her, she could call herself martin and say she is from cheshire

can't be having any russkies involved in any sport for a while

I have never seen her nationality recorded as "British"/"English" on anything relating to darts tbh.

All Russian have to go or none.

Zenit are playing in Spain tonight btw.

Serbia were thrown out of the Euros due to war.

But are/were individual players banned? Or just teams playing under their national name?

Surely they would have to discuss suspending the Russian national organisation, which in turn would prohibit its players playing in events.

Lets be honest, if things have got worse by the start of April, its not a good look to have Russians involved in this.

Had to check the list there. Yup, Boris Koltsov. He needs to be binned imo.

I don't see any reason why individual players who happen to have Russian nationality can't continue playing as normal. It would only be team competitions that might be affected. Although it is possible some may decide to withdraw voluntarily due to travel difficulties etc.

Would get to a point soon where countries block entry to Russian nationals I suppose.

I am sure someone will find something I did to cry about, in a way of deflecting from laughing at the WDF

Aeroflot just banned, assume other countries will follow suit and other airlines will stop flying there. Aye could be tricky for the Ruskies (bar Ana) to get here I guess by early April.

When Yugoslavia (not Serbia I think) were banned from the Euros were the individual footballers, tennis players also banned?

I don't know. But I am not sure all russian football players, tennis players etc will be banned as individuals.

So I don't think Russians will be banned from darts

At the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Yugoslav competitors weren't able to compete under their national flag. They had to compete as International Olympic Participants.

Their flag was the Olympic rings.
