Can you not copy paste his post Devo?
I did a few posts back (an edited version anyway) but Ginge couldn't understand it.

I think his point is that overall the ladies must have 30% of prize fund. The men have an extra round than the ladies. So it's looks like 50% for a particular round.

Paul's good guy who supports ladies darts and the wdf.
Nowhere in those rules I screenshotted does it say 30%.

Anywhere.
Well all I can say Paul (unless he is winding me up, which I hope he isn't. I have always had good conversations with Paul) has told me that is the case and it is agreed by the board.
Hot Potatoes: the very best of Devo.

15th and 16th seed in women’s draw are tied for 138th in the world.

Though looks like the top players are split at the top end. Of top 20, 7 are seeded here, 5 unlikely to be at either so 8 going to PDC potentially.

If thats true about circumventing the required prize money for the ladies then thats utterly pathetic and completely unsurprising.

Its also stopping the men earning more as well. Mens winner £5k means the runner up should get £2500 and semi finalists £1250. Guess what? They arent.

I mean, its feasible they got permission to break the rules Image

How many years have people been saying the men shouldn't be subsidising the women in terms of prize fund due to number of entries and other factors?

What are you driving at?

All I am asking for it for the published rules to be followed. If the WDF want the women to get a fairer crack of the whip in their rules, then so be it, dont look for ways around it, of which this clearly is.

If you want to pay £5k to your mens winner, absolutely fine. Just means your mens runner up and womens winner has to get at least £2500. Dont like it? Dont apply for the points.

I don't disagree, but it's yet another damned if you do, damned if you don't. People take the mick about piss poor prize money, players moan about it, about the men propping up the women's prize fund and then this.

You can't please all of the people all of the time.

You can stick to the published rules though.

As I said its feasible they got permission to do this but then that just opens the floodgates, you would get every event creating "special prizes" to bump up the mens money, maybe not even just for the winner.
