O Shea got 18k sterling....the 6k on offer now is in euros

EDIT. Not counting the 400 quid first prize back in 1975, this is the LOWEST prizefund in the entire history of the Masters when inflation is factored in.,
The WDF are a complete joke

Surley be better adding 8k world open money onto master fund to make it 44k be better than that only good thing is it’s not as top heavy as previous one but you think winner would have got 10k at least

World Masters is now the third most valuable tournament on the WDF side, as the Australian Open pays out far more.

Matt Edgar did a video about the cost of attending and the prize fund:

Says a lot that the existential threat to the WDF isn't the PDC but is an endless procession of has-beens and never-weres playing mostly for the benefit of a few thousand online gambling addicts.

The brand is fucking toxic. Can't get even Winmau to put any decent money into it. The bookies, who will sponsor two flies running around a shite if it televised, are so determined to be nowhere near this that they set up their own competitor organisation from scratch and put their money into that, instead.

Time to pack it in.

said this months back, Modus for all the shit players, shit averages, the issues with their streaming, hiring a mentally defective speech impediment suffering "Joey Deacon", etc, they are far more organized , better fan base, better production and promotion than the WDF.

Did you see that spastic Jules van Dongen asking people to give the WDF a chance ?
The WDF are 48 years old, its not like they are some broke ass new company starting out, and after almost half a fucking century this is the best the WDF can do ?

My signature has never been more apt.

I love how I can log out for hours and return and make a post and the rat who lives on here day and night with nothing else in his life is compelled to reply to my post within minutes. He is incapable of ignoring my posts, as he craves my attention, since I live rent free in his head.

Now I have posted again he will have more to chase to fill the empty void in his empty existence as he spends the night in his empty squat pressing f5 .Maybe he can discuss my blog or my twitter account, or whatever his latest infatuation is.

starts clock

Surely taking into account inflation, it’s much much worse than 1989?

I see Edgar is talking about a £1 fee for entering each event which will go to the WDF. You’ve got to get serious here - that will make the square difference of f-all.

£25 annual fee for every player who participates in a WDF event, plus entry fees and centralise everything. The WDF are potless because everything is organised by the individual national governing bodies.!

They have to pay a levy to the WDF
Tournament income for the WDF is:

Player levy - US $2 per player per ranked singles event
Tournament levy - US $2500 for a platinum or gold event; $250 for silver; $100 for bronze

This year so far they have received $40,300 for the tournament levy, and $39,000 approx for the player levy, approx $79,000 overall.

In addition each member organisation has to pay US $200 for annual membership - currently approx 76 member countries, so $15,000 this year.

Total income is about $100,000 a year. Not a lot! I've seen some flyers saying the player levy may be $5 next year, but the rules aren't showing this at the moment.

They should hold a tournament once a year that charges £500 quid or so per player and doesn't pay out a penny.

Proven money spinner.
