Price making a total arse of himself. You don't need both earplugs and those defenders if you want to block the crowd out.

For me, it was designed to put Clemens off, but full credit to Gabriel, he focused solely on his darts and was both a convincing and deserved winner.

Surely that didn't help him? It must have put him off.
I see he lost. How were the crowd ?
And it didn't look good on the part I saw.
If only the people who run Professional darts made it more accessible so you could enjoy it and answer these questions yourself, hey?
It is accessible. Slight problem for me is that I can't sign up for a month (as I did for a few years) with my TV set up.
Not willing to subscribe for 12 months so that it has nothing to do with the PDC but me.

I have missed the darts but you get used to not seeing it.

So it's not accessible to people that can't afford it then?

Well you can say that about anything. £9 for me to watch the football at the non league level I go to. Should it be free?

Ps I can afford it and would pay the top price just for 1 month. I don't want sky for 12 months.

Commentators talking like there's nothing Dobey can do about this and MVG is untouchable.

Averaging 87 after 4 sets.

Re the booing of Ayers, surely our view should be based on principle not on if we like the player or not.

It's irrelevant if folk can't stand price, the booing is either right or wrong.

The booing and the boring chants is a negative for the PDC. But what can they do?

That's why I said "MORE accessible".

No television service is completely free. But the PDC have ensured it is at a premium cost that the majority don't have access to.

Hence they have made it less accessible.

Price wouldn't be missed with so many players coming through but it would be bad press for the PDC if the behaviour of the fans can drive a player out of the game.

"more accessible" fair point made. But there is always ITV4!

Not been on the radio yet. I might check it out tonight.

Well it's live on talksport 2 but I have to put my dab radio to get that station. Talksport 1 is on the TV channels.

Listened to the main channel (trans Europe express prog). Top item is about price. And they are on his side saying the abuse is incredible. Including extremely disrespectful chanting re him being a Welsh guy.
They say this story won't go away. It doesn't bode well for the PDC if this story gets momentum.

I have got the money but don't want to subscribe to sky sports for 12 months. Yes I would watch some prem footie but apart from darts it's not worth it. So when I can get a month contract I will.

Wait untill ITV4 coverage starts, I will be watching.

I can't recall anyone else saying they listen to it on radio though?

The thing some might find hard to understand is that you have been one of the most pro PDC posters there has ever been on here and it has come across like you have long championed for top level darts to be where it is today.

But with that becoming the case, you barely get to see any of the most important tournaments and as a result of that your interest levels seem lower than ever.

I liken it to a brexit voter. Thought it would be the best thing that ever happened, but now that it has happened and has quite obviously made things a lot shitter, youre too stubborn to admit it wasn't anything like what you'd hope it would be.
