THE 2011 PDC Premier League Darts season will kick off at The O2 in London, featuring a clash between Adrian Lewis and Phil Taylor on the opening night, while Gary Anderson meets Simon Whitlock and Mark Webster plays James Wade.
The new season of the £400,000 event will kick off for the second successive year at The O2 on Thursday February 10, with the first of 14 league nights to be held around the UK and screened live on Sky Sports HD.
The four matches at The O2 will be headlined by new Ladbrokes.com World Darts Champion Adrian Lewis facing reigning Premier League Darts Champion Phil Taylor, who hit two nine-darters in reclaiming the title last May.
Premier League Darts debutants Gary Anderson and Mark Webster will face Simon Whitlock and James Wade respectively, while five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld plays Terry Jenkins in the opening night's other match.
The second week of the Premier League Darts, to be held at the Trent FM Arena in Nottingham on February 17, will begin when Whitlock plays van Barneveld, while Taylor and Webster clash in a repeat of their World Championship quarter-final recently, which the Welsh left-hander won.
Lewis will play Wade in a repeat of October's World Grand Prix final, while Jenkins plays Anderson, the World Championship runner-up.

Week Four's visit to Exeter's Westpoint Arena includes the clash between Taylor and van Barneveld, while Anderson meets the reigning champion in Week Five in Manchester.
Lewis and Anderson will clash in a rematch of their recent World Championship final at the SECC in Glasgow in Week Six, while the seventh Thursday at The Brighton Centre sees Taylor and Wade meet in a repeat of the 2010 Premier League Darts final.
The players will face each other twice during the league stages, with the second half of the season visiting Cardiff, Aberdeen, Sheffield, Birmingham, Liverpool, Bournemouth and Newcastle.
The top four players will progress to compete in the Play-Offs at the Wembley Arena on May 19, with the semi-finals and final played in one night as the tournament culminates.

Re: Premier League Fixtures
Chuffed with the Manchester fixtures !!! Game On !!
Live your life, 'cause you've got a good one.
Re: Premier League Fixtures
I think this time around, there aren't really any duff fixtures. On paper, they look excellent.
Re: Premier League Fixtures
Lewis vs the scot in Scotland, last on
Lewis vs the Welshman in Wales the next week, last on = stitch up
Lewis vs the Welshman in Wales the next week, last on = stitch up
Re: Premier League Fixtures
Explain why that is a stitch up. It is an exhibition tournament, the best/most anticipated matches should top the bill.ozzieb wrote:Lewis vs the scot in Scotland, last on

Re: Premier League Fixtures
I feel it would have been fairer to have another player have to deal with the home crowds once, not 2 weeks in a row when you know exactly is going to happen. I go to more exhibitions that you at a guess and doubt that the abuse the Englishman would get is like an average exhibition. I know that the other lads have to deal with it week in, week out but i would have liked to have seen Taylor or Barney vs the home players, merely my opinion. Anderson vs Taylor would have been top of the bill for me in Scotland.
Re: Premier League Fixtures
yes thats damned unfair that Lewis has to deal with a home crowd chanting swing low sweet chariot and shouting miss whenever he throws for a double - no wait that was Webby and Ando in the semis and finalozzieb wrote:I feel it would have been fairer to have another player have to deal with the home crowds once, not 2 weeks in a row when you know exactly is going to happen. Im still waiting Nikkiboy for you to admit you were wrong in saying that Lewis would never win a major. We had 20 notes on it if i remember rightly?
Re: Premier League Fixtures
Good looking fixtures.
Great 8 this year - no dull looking games at all for me.

Re: Premier League Fixtures
Have to say that actually seeing the fixtures in black and white, this is easily the best line up yet, with every match looking like a corker. Hard to see how it could have been any better to be honest.
