True. Plus who hires a darts lane when all the local boozers you can play for free.
Never heard of a Rileys who charges you to play dartsDavidOwen67 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 11:06 am True. Plus who hires a darts lane when all the local boozers you can play for free.
Maybe I dreamt that. I remember not being able to get on a board as they were "all booked" one night in Crewe. Not for comps either.clarky wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 12:02 pmNever heard of a Rileys who charges you to play dartsDavidOwen67 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 11:06 am True. Ours use to charge in birkenhead, town centre surrounded by loads of pubs with boards, lasted about 18 months or so.DavidOwen67 wrote:Maybe I dreamt that. Maybe that's where my confusion arose.
We certainly booked the ones in Leicester for the gathering a few years ago. I thought we paid for the privilege as well.

Think they were asking about £3 an hour. Plus expensive drinks etc, only ever played in there as an away player so not 2 bad.DavidOwen67 wrote:I thought I hadnt dreamt it.
