Good opening three games to watch.

Cross throw looked good and he played more than good enough. Humphries blew his chance to beat an off Chizzy and Wade looked good against Heta who hit to many 5’s. He also did something that always annoys me in going for bill to leave a double when you only have 2 darts left. It’s just silly.

Be interesting to see how Duzza plays later.

Cross wasn't tested & Pipe like i said is making the numbers up. Chizzy was poor but scrambled a win against Humphries who shat himself when 3-1 up. Wade was in cruise control vs Heta

The commentators during the first game said that the reason there arent many BDO players in the event is "due to Covid". I dont know how else I can word it so you understand, it seemed self explanatory.

What was silly was going 19’s with the first dart on 101, if he’d gone 20’s then he wouldn’t have needed to even bring the bull into play.

That said, going bull/d16 with two darts left on 82 is fine with me. Ok the treble is bigger but some feel more comfortable that way. Not a given to have hit the treble anyway so he’d have still needed a treble next throw or would only have had two darts at the double next turn. At least he left tops...not that it mattered anyway as Wade checked out!
