Cody Harris and Jeff Smith opting for this q school. Co Stompe giving it a go. Can’t see any players who are at Lakeside this year, although a few from last year are.
That will be an increase of about 60 on last year then.
Doesn’t Harris have a tour card from the Challenge tour?

He was just pipped to the second card by Ted Evetts in the very last match of last season’s challenge tour.

Nope, basically, Evetts sneaked ahead of him on the CT OoM last year at the last event, so even though Evetts had already secured his tour card via the Development Tour, he is deemed to have won his via the Challenge Tour, and so Rowby-John has a tour card instead

I thought Unterbuchner always said he wasn't going this year.
He said after the Grand Slam that so long as his game wasnt on the weeked he would be there and his game is Monday night.
But was told that some players have said they have to be there from Friday for some reason which is why people are complaining about hotels. If a woman playing Monday or Tuesday goes out in the first round then they pretty much break even.

Nearly 250 players is a fantastic number. There’s going to be nearly 1000 PDPA members at this rate. Darts for all?
And yet only 128 players on the tour, go figure...

Oche said on Twitter that there is over 800 entries for UK Q-School already going to be some long days
How does he know that?
If it is true the PDC need to quickly look at the feeder tours. The increased field of the euro q-school would lead to a euro only challenge tour and the uk side of things could be split over a 128 Challenge tour and then another tier under that.

How many of the Q School failures played Challenge Tour last year? Having a 3rd Tour is laughable silly

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t most CT events 200+ players large? If there’s a 25% increase in Europe, id expect around 600-700 in the UK. Logistically surely that’s a nightmare? The Robin Park Arena is large but it’s not exactly huge is it?
