It wasn't a performance to write home about until Steve Lennon threw back-to-back 15-darters with back-to-back ton+ finishes (111 & 119) to win the game 7:5.

that was some choke from gurney...............6-2 up in a race to 7 and loses

One of the biggest chokes on the European Tour that ive seen, after that I see an 8-2 win for Van Gerwen averaging 102.

Have to say really disappointed with the quality of this event. MVG by his standards was decidedly average but still managed to win yet another ET event.

Gurney should have beaten him from 6-2 up in a best of 13 tie, but frankly threw the match away.
