Phil Taylor V Martin Adams Matchlay 2001 + Richie Burnett 97
Re: Phil Taylor Vs Martin Adams Matchlay 2001 and Richie Bur
The good old days when Martin played in PDC events and proved himself to be a competitive player. Then of course he made a moral decision not to compete anymore.
You would think that the way people go on about him that he never played the best in the world?

both throw very different now i personally think Taylor would of hit a lot more 9 darters if he had stuck with skinny darts

more smoother now i suppose his swicth to chunky darts speaks for its self with all the titles he has won

If you ever wondered where/when the Adams smirk was born....just take a look at 36:35min!
Adams was on 176 and Taylor had 50 left. Taylor wanted the 10darter and went for the bull.
Mr. Adams was "amused". I love it though how Taylor absolutely ignored him.
