Can we keep this thread for competition entries only please.
Erm.... it's the competition homepage. We probably need a separate entry thread. :D

In other news, amongst the 5 entries so far - one lurker whose only post ever is his entry and somebody who has 4 posts, 2 of which were entries in this thread as he mucked up the first and didn't know how to edit.  :IIII: :IIII:
FFS! Can I at least post that it is a Homepage thread?
You just have. ;-)

So you are going to stick it out despite two of your eight selections playing each other in the Prelim round?

Danger Danger talking to himself, there
“Deluxe have put together a seriously good team behind this , who are used to events at the very top of British and international sports.
They are certainly not muppets and must truly believe the BDO is marketable”

much prefer the Ally Pally comp, no riff raff in there, people who want to play for fun or have contributed.
This one will get all the usual freeloaders,
no thank you.

I dont know why you have put up with it again, it will drive Red Dragon away as well when they have to give away two £80 darts sets.
So very much this. I notice the very first entry from "HotChip180" was their first ever post on the forum.
Hotchip180 still on 1 post. A great contributor and asset to the forum he's proving already.

Give him time took over a year for his first post. You were a slow starter before you became your current persona.

Nope he made a fair point. Where as you are just obsessed with me noticed you didn’t mention that match either I’m sure you would have been kissing Gurney’s arse if he had won though

So that’s two other people who have rightly said there’s no way Jamie Lewis will win more titles than Daryl Gurney yet he still trolls out the same rubbish and won’t admit what he said was absolute tosh.

Let’s all remember folks, to qualify for tv events you have to be good on the floor, something that our learned friend admitted Jamie Lewis isn’t so heck know he’s going to win all these tv titles when he can barely get on the tv.

Let’s remember again, Jamie Lewis has only played ONE match on tv this year between the two world championships and that says it all.

As for comparing throws, Jamie Lewis has a dreadful throw but hey don’t let that get in the way. :DDD:

Now wait for him to reply calling me a troll and other names, in 3...2...1...

So because the majority of people think a certain way that makes them right does it? Ok then you’ve just once again confirmed that your not worth arguing with as its like trying to play a game of chess against a pigeon.

Erh, do you actually read why you type before you hit Submit??

Why do you want to argue anyway?? This forum is for debating, if you can’t accept anyone’s opinion then perhaps you shouldn’t be posting? Beside no one else has yet to agree with you...

It’s obvious why you said what you said about Daryl Gurney as well but hey, I was only born yesterday...

Perhaps his is good.

I'm hoping to win whatever weekly award he offers as well, just like Gumbo did this week on yours.

Was the final entry in the R3 thread not posted after the first match started?

Asking for a friend.
I think it may have been posted posted during the second leg but allowable.
Christmas spirit and all that
Thanks for that fling. I didn't even know I was late. Hopped out of bed and straight to the entry thread as I realized I had not entered (up late last night celebrating my Dad's 86th birthday!). Thought it started at 8am EST and since thread wasn't locked thought I was on time. Didn't realize the matches had already started!
Reads like an X factor audition tape.

Erm because it's a round further on in the competition and the format has increased?

Just a guess, mind.
Fair enough to increase the points for a correct score as the number of combinations have increased but picking a player to win is still picking a player to win, not sure why that should be worth more points than before.
This is the first time anyone has queried it, every single competition i have run on here where the format has increased has also seen an increase in the point tariff, and I think everyone else has done it the same way.

Think you are moaning for the sake of it tbh.
You could have chosen not to enter as all the points were posted right at the start of this thread...
Correct. All previous comps have run like this.
No idea why thIs lurker is whining.

Very hypocritical all these BDO haters entering a BDO comp.
