Two things I have noticed

A few years ago there were 5 maybe 6 players winning the bigger events

Now it's just two, Lisa and Deta and if Lisa travelled more, she would be cleaning up

Also the Ladies as a whole are pretty much running at a loss, take Paula Jacklin for instance, she travels to every single comp going and only has £2420.00 to show for it

Just wish our sport could move into the mainstream with regards to Prize Money

What do you mean by mainstream though for Women? I'm sure Women of virtualy every sport outside Tennis/Athletics and maybe football/cricket would be saying the same. There is Olmpic funding for a few but nothing much of a commercial nature unless you are a Gold Medal winner.

I'd say there are a few more women's sports where the world's top players can at least have a professional career nowadays (in the sense of earning a living wage), even if only very few of them will get rich from it...alpine and nordic skiing, golf, volleyball (indoors and beach), maybe table tennis and badminton.

In any case, I thought other than the women's issue, "our sport" was pretty mainstream in terms of prize money these days...

The prize money is pretty good once you consider that outside of the players and their partners only 37 people in the entire world are remotely interested in it.
