Have just caught up on this - Wow! At least it has been a thread where people have posted!

Just back from a few days away in France with the family - not really looked at any darts forums - other things in life are far more important (make no apologies for that)

Have read the criticism of me in this thread - not really worried one iota to be honest.

If others want to 'take over' please do so.

It's a thread people have posted to tell you why they don't post !!
Too much drivel, random pics, repetitive arguments about crap.
I criticised you because you are admin but never on here , yet asking why others aren't .
Of course there is more important things in life , we all know that .
Might sound ridiculous but under Andy f, who yes was a knob, at least a lot of the pages of drivel
would probably have been erased/truncated.
The forum is dead for any proper darts chat now and only ACF provides a great service.

I've stated reasons forum has died above like many others , number one being the amount of rubbish you have

to wade through to get to a valid point . None of the admin can be bothered to shut it down because they have

more important stuff to do , which is fair enough but then don't ask why people aren't posting.

It would take less than a minute to shut the forum down. Perhaps the reason is that it is still an active discussion forum they don't want to shut it down.

I have a very busy work and family life these days (which is all good of course!) so don't get so much time to visit the darts forums like I used to.

On the occasions that I do 'drop by' I see the same old members, posting a lot of the same old nonsense, and generally 'trolling' other members.

When I look at the members showing as 'on line' there is still a healthy number - but it always appears to be the same few posting!

This got me thinking - what is stopping the many 'viewers' from posting here these days?

Simply, Social Media and apps are replacing forums.

I mainly use Twitter to discuss darts nowadays. Not a neg against the forum or anyone on it, it's just not as relevant nowadays.
