Id like to see the BDO on a proper channel 6 times a year -Something like BT CH4 CH5 or Eurosport - Lakeside Masters WDT International and a pairs tournament would do - Maybe a county tournament as well - Something different - Its just about making the right noise - The BDO have made the wrong noise and not done business right - Its come back to hurt them - The Game - And us - Its a shame because they have a good product to sell - They just dont sell it right - Still along with the Matchplay - Lakeside remains my favourite event on the darting calendar -

I am sure a lot of people would welcome BDO darts on a proper channel on a regular basis, But the problem is still there that has been for years...Who is going to market the BDO and sell it to the TV companies?

The BDO needs someone (and I have said this for years now) That can market the BDO, Gain new sponsors and build the BDO as a product, The way things are going especially in the last 5 years....I don't think there will be long left at all if the BDO do not wise up, Change their ways and get out of the 80's way of running things.

Durrent has one hand on retaining the trophy already - Hes the most dominant shooter in the game - MVG can have a bad night and be beat by Anderson Wright or other players - That hardly ever happens to Durrent in the BDO - I know the PDC have a slightly better players than the BDO - And MVG is still better than Durrent - But I have to admire Durrents ability - The best Lakeside champion since RVB -
