Come back at about 9.40 for confirmation! Hats off to MvG for how he has played. Going to take some comeback from Smith to stop him now.
He hasn’t really played that well. Think smith has had darts to take 3 of the 4 sets
Nope not played well at all. If he had taken some of those chances would not be 4-1 behind.

Well will that be a turning point? Crowd got behind Smith there. Keeps the final interesting for a bit longer.

Gotta take this set with the darts

Makes it 4-2 and only 1 break

Suddenly Smith is in with a chance, a minute chance, but a chance nonetheless

Unfortunately I think that will just fire MVG up.

I really want this final to come to life. MVG looks beatable here if Smith can get going.

Is it just me but all of a sudden I can see Smith winning this!

Starts off with a 180 in 7th set.

If Smith has a negative its how much he switches all over the place. The amount of 57s going from 20, 19s, 18s has been ridiculous.

Sweet 112 by mvg. I think he needed that.

Must say darts is very enjoyable played at this pace.

Why is Smith getting annoyed by the MVG celebrations , Its nothing different to what he usually does.

I think every time Smith switched each throw hes missed all 3 trebles.

That and his attitude still isn’t great at times. Seemed to moaning about MvG whilst walking off another who doesn’t seem able to accept someone is playing better than him.
Does he 'get this' attitude from his mentor?

His attitude is the Smith from a few years back when he first came into the game. Decent game but attitude stunk.

Not really seen it this tournament, its all been about how hes grown up, is the better player, family man all that, until tonight. Sighing on bad throws, throwing all over the board, comments when hes walking around.
