Are you sure they didn't say Lincolnshire rather than England ?

In other news, I heard that Santa Claus will no longer be allowed to deliver Christmas presents. ;-)

Corinne Hammond tweeted that herself, Deta, Ana, Lorraine and Fallon have either entered or will be doing so shortly, despite having no assurances of the implications of doing so from the BDO.

foggs thinking there that no other player in the first round would be capable of beating a player averaging mid 90's....What a tool!!

Well entry in , hope many others follow and showcase ladies darts.
But but but Richard North said she wasn't doing it!

What a despicable thing to put on Twitter.
Has Pauly Pulled up Richard North for spreading rumours that deta wasn’t entering????

Also has he apologised to the forum for spreading rumors on the TSOD Facebook page for saying the forum started that rumour ? When it was mr north!

Not at all this only helps two women.........what about the rest of them?
They get a sticker that says
"I was a STAR at the PDC World Championship Women's Qualifiers"
to satisfy all those 'everyone's a winner' folks.
Seriously though, they are all guaranteed their entrance fee back.

Or the WDF.
since two years there are no restrictions from WDF, any PDC player can play in WDF Cups or WDF Tournaments

But there is no problem entering the comp before assurances have been made. Free entry, thus nothing to lose if you change your mind and withdraw, if board put sanctions in place at a later date.

Steve is correct. If they decide there would be sanctions just for entering, they will simply withdraw their entries.

Re des and his board (can't really call it a new board) ;

Des was quick to move to help the Spanish event.

why no communication re their take on this event?

Undecided I am guessing. If they were okay with it then no reason to withhold that statement .

Maybe waiting to see reaction of the ladies 1st?

Suppose they need to confirm the event where the sanctions would take effect first.

They see Paula's chances to win a set at Lakeside growing quickly.

I can really see the PDC stabbing the BDO in the back here.

People seem convinced that the BDO should 100% let the ladies do what they want as it will help the BDO as they are the only organization with a ladies game and hence it will help with exposure.

If the PDC told all the ladies the day of the qualifier "hey were doing a ladies tour next year alongside the challenge tour and by entering today you all have free entry at Qschool for this year to get the ball rolling.......you just need to walk away from the BDO" the PDC would destroy BDO ladies darts overnight.

Its obvious the PDC want UK Sport recognition as the official body. Offering a spot at the worlds to a women is a great media piece and get the ball rolling but they need full events to finish it off. By offering the qualifier as free entry they have a room full of ladies all ready to make a big announcement.

They've already tried this and it failed, what will make it different this time?

Well sort of tour leading up to World championship, 20 qualifying tournies plus World qualifiers. They only paid a measly £10,000 to the winner, should be the same as the men's final, talk about discrimination.
