Finder Darts Masters 7-9 Dec 2018, Egmond aan Zee
Re: Finder Darts Masters 7-9 Dec 2018, Egmond aan Zee
But you do leave it as you said, if not by design then due to other reasons. If your opponent is on a finish, surely anything other than the bull/25 first dart is foolish. Why throw a dart knowing a single leaves you no outshot?
Very odd.

If you read again what I wrote...Then I wouldn't...If going to the board on 135 and my opponent was not on a finish I would go my preferred way as even if I miss it im gonna leave it handy, Obviously if my opponent is on a finish then im forced to start on the bull.

What a 157 checkout from Lisa Ashton to save the match, with Aileen sitting on tops.
Could be a match changer.

Sitting cooped up on a flight is slightly more taxing than strutting around a ferry drinking.

Exactly. Hence the reasons finishing combinations are subjective.daveboygreen wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 10:02 pmIf you read again what I wrote...Then I wouldn't...If going to the board on 135 and my opponent was not on a finish I would go my preferred way as even if I miss it im gonna leave it handy, Obviously if my opponent is on a finish then im forced to start on the bull.
If your opponent isn't on a finish, go nuts.
Frankly, it makes no difference which way I go as I wouldn't hit it anyway.

Phenomenal last 3 legs from Lisa Ashton.
She really is playing well going into Ally Pally and Lakeside and despite both my prediction and bet of a 3-0 win for Dekker, I am beginning to doubt the likelihood of that result.

It does amaze me though that even players that have a decent level of experience lose the plot when the pressure is on and rush the odd finish not thinking and it costs them the leg, Player locally can score well, usually a couple of 140's in a leg but thick as mince when it comes to finishing...Seems to think even on a 3 dart out that his first dart always be at the 60....Seen him many times on 95 and even once on 85 going 60 1st dartBlueSpark wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 10:04 pmExactly. Was looking forward to the Telnekes vs Montgomery game, and still watching on the laptop, but have put my main screen TV to the Brook vs Zarefa fight.
Have the lap top USBd to the TV so will be switching between HDM1 and HDM2 between rounds of the fight.
