EDO AGM

Post by DavidOwen67 » Sun Sep 02, 2018 5:44 pm

Word reaches me that although Des has allowed PDC players into BDO comps, the EDO have said that this won't apply in their comps.

Could get interesting.

I always thought that the Edo were more likely to allow them than the BDO, can't see this being true.

Never mind Nikki being a bit daft.
I'm sure the EDO members will be happy tbat tour card holders won't be dipping into the prize funds.

I am sure and PDC tour card holders are somewhat relieved rather than upset at the news they don't have to go to places such as Maplins at Selsey

The point is that TT and Pauly have no truck with Des's decision to open the doors and have immediately closed them again to some big WDF affiliated events.

Quote from Pauly. Makes sense to me.

Clearly Des didn't think this through and just opened the doors so his Mrs could play the PDC qualifier with out worrying about any repercussions.

"The decision was made re PDC , if our comp was streamed or televised would we allow a TOUR CARD holder to play , our reply was no .
Common sense say 4 tour card holders got to the semis then declare they can’t play if streamed , don’t think sponsors would be happy at all .
Also I believe this will be used throughout the system .
Currently Dutch, England , Scottish , Welsh , Belfry , Swiss , Czech and many others streamed or televised"
