I’m pretty sure hardly anyone in Japan will be interested in her playing in this event let alone watch it live.
“Deluxe have put together a seriously good team behind this , who are used to events at the very top of British and international sports.
They are certainly not muppets and must truly believe the BDO is marketable”

You are incorrect. Millions will be watching on live streams. ;-)

The only interest in Japan in darts is when they have a player go out in the last 96 of Ally Pally.
No one cares about having a world champion.

Was it Paul Nicholson who declared during Lakeside that darts is huge in Japan and there is a darts bar on every street, or such bollox of a similar nature?

Given the likely standard of the game, scat is more apt.

Japanese baseball flipped when they seen the streaming figures for each game Suzuki played. Think they will cancel all games when she plays in future.

Wasn’t just Japan, seen an interview with Usain Bolt saying the reason he retired is he couldn’t reach the superstar status of deta headman in Jamaica. It’s a public holiday every time she chokes in a final

27 viewers?

That's just a blatant lie, Oche.

More likely that most bars have a soft tip machine in saying that they will also have karaoke in everything and how many Japanese singers have been in the charts here ? ;)

Just seen a letter on fb from des to Surrey darts (guess 1 sent to all countues).

He confirms lots of tickets have been sold for all sessions but wants it packed out not just busy.

at least it won't be a flop crowd wise.
