New Home of the BDO

Post by Skewball » Mon Oct 21, 2019 12:50 pm

The registered address of the BDO has been changed. Looks like Des is definitely trying to take them to a new level of professionalism.
Most big organisations would go for their posh HQ as the registered address, or if they don't have one then their solicitors or accountants. But not Des, he has taken ..a different.. route,

Having said that, looking at his location he should stay in more. All they do in Somerset is drink Cider and bother cattle.

if only Companies House did automatic email alerts.

Got it set up for a few companies, me being an accountant and all that..

(but I would probably rather get out more than having to work, but oh well, bills don't pay themselves. Well apart from all those on here on benefits of course...)

Are you the BDO's accountant? Thought not.

Skewball has access to a lot of information he was boasting about it to his only friend in a pub last week

His hatred for the BDO is on a par with Dominic Grieves for Brexit

Do you actually have a mental illness? I'm only asking so that I can make allowances in my future replies. I already do for Moongoose so maybe I need to add you to my list?

That does seem odd to be fair. Why would you change the registered address of a darts company, run by a bloke near Lincoln, to a boys and girls club in deepest darkest Wales?

No even you must admit it looks a bit odd.

Auntie Sue changed it for a laugh behind their backs?

It will actually quite often depend who is conducting the company secretarial duties. often a local solicitor or accountancy firm.
I imagine whoever they are, they are still local to the Williams (and are renting space that property), and since the old address was the old warehouse, which is now defunct, then they had to move the registered office somewhere, and I'm quite sure Des didn't fancy it at his own personal address.

But that's the boring answer, we can only hope that the reality is more interesting.

That would be very noughty of them. I've a mind to report them. They should have let Companies House know back in August.
