Certainly has more chance than the BDO one at the O2.

Morita had darts to win 5-2 but took an age to throw the darts so lost his momentum. Foulks won the leg and then won the next 2 with a great deal of ease. I believe he is a soft tip player but its interesting to see another Japanese player going to play at Ally Pally

Has there been any word of how the international qualifiers are going to be decided?

No idea, but if the event is going overseas, Gary Anderson wont be going. Now confirmed as much in an interview.

Also puts him out of the PDC World Cup.

Well he if doesn’t (I think he would still travel for it) he can probably kiss his top 16 place goodbye.
Oche has already posted that Anderson will be there. He would be an absolute fool not too, unless he plans to retire of course.

Anderson said in an interview this week that if covid is still around in december (which it obviously will be) he won't play the WC if it is held outside the UK.

He's already said he sees it as a hobby, he hasn't done the Euro tour since 2016, maybe he is being genuine?
