Re: Coronavirus Thread
We can all admit to being wrong sometimes Chris. Dont think many people on here saw it playing out like it has.

Ahem!
Re: Coronavirus Thread
Why are double vaccinated people still being made to wear masks?
So 2 doses of an effective vaccine WON'T stop the spread but sticking a piece of paper or cloth on your face that has been mass produced in the Philippines to no medical specification WILL stop the spread.
Complete bollocks.
I'm so lucky to get asthma and COPD and therefore haven't worn a mask in a couple of months thanks to exemption.
The vaccine will do me just fine, thanks.

Re: Coronavirus Thread
I went to the shops before and I was required to wear a mask AND there was a plastic screen between me and the merchant serving customers.
Why both? It's health and safety gone mad.

I’ve enjoyed his meltdown from reasonable, affable kil*er to genuinely racist, conspiracy theorist eunuch.
Just because he doesn’t like you. And hasn’t met you.

how dumb are you ?DavidOwen67 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 6:21 pm Why are double vaccinated people still being made to wear masks?
Vaccinations help protect you, but does not stop you spreading it.
Because you are vaccinated dont mean you cannot be a carrier.

Re: Coronavirus Thread
I took the seatbelts out of my car today. I have airbags fitted you see. Seems totally pointless having both. Just a big con.

Other vaccinated people. Nope.
The young and the healthy? Nope they might get it but they don't get ill or die. Most don't even know they have it.
The actually vulnerable due to other health conditions. Nope they should still be isolating because by your logic anyone can kill them.
If the vaccine doesn't help anyone then it's pointless. It's supposed to get life back to normal but even vaccinated people prefer to still hide in their basements - like you've done all your life.
If you look at the data for states in the US with mask mandates and those without, masks have made no difference to infection rates.
So masks are no point and you're saying vaccines are also pointless.
So we either crack on or go back into lockdown. Which do you want?

Now the big question is do you believe those people and the fact that it is the general scientific consensus, or do we believe David and his youtube mates.
It's a toughie.

The vaccine limits the effect of the illness through the immune system
The mask helps stop the spread
That’s why we’ve spent the past 9 months doing both.
Primary school children know this. How can it have passed you by ?

Who will suffer harm now high risk people are vaccinated or isolating?
If you want to hide in basements for the rest of your lives because we MIGHT fall on the railway tracks or step under a bus, you go ahead.
Will you go back into hiding when the flu season comes around that kills thousands in the UK every year? Or will you have the flu jab and carry on with real life?
I'm getting back to real life, thanks.

They should probably take down all the safety measures like barriers, warning signs etc... from around train tracks now too. Time for life to get back to normal.
