Ginge wrote: Tue Jun 29, 2021 9:12 pm I agree the 7 hour checkup is pathetic. Other than that though, it seems fair enough, £60 a head for a test is a lot but their own fault for not shopping around.
They were told they HAD to use Randox and that was the price.
Well thats a load of old bollox, there are countless suppliers, the list on the Government website has about 200 listed.
Precisely. And they didn't know any better so they handed over £120.

I'm sure there are plenty out there approving of this because of who it relates to and not because of the facts.

In any case surely the £60 covered the Day 2 and Day 8 tests, come to think of it?

Yes, it did. Which is performed by the subjects themselves and posted to Randox in Antrim (I think - somewhere in Norn anyway). So costs Randox nothing except maybe postage and a few seconds of time to look at the indicator on the test)

I have boxes and boxes of kits here from the kids' schools for home testing, totally free from the NHS.

£60 for two tests is about the going rate then, whether its value or not is a different argument

The similarities between this horrific incident and the holocaust just keep stacking up.

If only there was somewhere you could get information and advice before choosing to travel abroad during a global pandemic.

Third one will be at the UK open when we share a bunk, you may feel a little prick - but nothing new there.
