Maybe a bit of an overestimation.
But it will be the most posts the Torre Borre Open has ever achieved.

It's all still on. Nothing to worry about. A week of fun and sun and darts galore.

I'm at the hotel and it's already a great atmosphere. A couple of the oldies have come dressed in face mask - much mirth taking has ensured. The BDO will show the world this virus is nothing to worry about.

Des found me deep

[Spain is the worst-hit country in Europe after Italy.

Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is banning Spanish citizens from leaving home, except for buying essential supplies and medicines, or for work. All museums, cultural centres and sports venues will be closed. Restaurants and cafes may only do home deliveries. Essential services like banks and petrol stations will remain open. Schools are already shut across the country. Flights and travel may be cancelled from midnight.

Mr Sánchez appealed for unity, calling on all regions to put ideological differences aside and put citizens first. He also said this state of emergency would not apply to the Torremolinos darts open, did he feck.]

Anybody trying to get to Spain is an even bigger chopper than anybody there who isn't trying to get home, they will be confused whatever happens. Their stupidity will probably kill any coronavirus they might catch, even bacteria are fussy.

If you included all the posts made in about it so far in other threads, we would be well on the way.

Come on now. You have been saying for weeks on here everyone needs to take this virus seriously so what do you genuinely think of Des' actions here?

Hes a cretin. This is not new news.

People need to make their own decisions though. Anyone following his advice given you cant move for news on what's happening in spain is a moron.

Were you just as outraged that the players championship event went ahead today? Or do you just have complete and total faith that the government of each country is making the right calls?

Given the UK isnt in total lockdown (yet) and Spain is about to by the time Torre takes place, you cant really compare the two.

Once the UK is and they still decide to hold darts events, then I will happily call Barry Hearn and Matt Porter total fekkin idiots on here.

I think this is what most people were trying to tell you last week on here.
But you kept saying no no no mega cheap flights, mega cheap holidays are coming. Ignore the government's advice.
It's nothing!
Anyone who doesn't consider the advice must be a complete moron.

In fairness Mark (given you have no issue with me being authorative in using your real first name, as the members of the forum have no idea of your identity), there is a major difference between an event being held behind closed doors in a shit hole town in Yorkshire, and one being held in a holiday complex in a country in lockdown, due to the effects of the current pandemic.
