The Champion and Challenger will share some of the entry fees, although they are a bit vague on how it will be worked out.
Be surprised if they get 30 people for the main one. Which would be less than 2 grand. I hate being automatically negative and dismissive of new ventures, but this is bollocks.

What happened to the bidding system?
Auctions are great fun, you should try one sometime if you haven’t been

Be shocked if it's as many as that. I'd be stunned if any "name" players enter.

Big difference between trying to buy a CD for a good price on eBay and fucking away several grand for the chance to lose a darts match to Wayne Warren.

Personally, I think it's outrageous that poor Wayne has been done out of thousands of pounds. Again. Is there a GoFundMe page I can donate to so that he can be compensated for this?

'Following on from the recent success of the popular ‘MAD Virtual’ Events'

These the events that got 200 viewers when streamed on You Tube and had to delete comments because people were taking the piss out of it? Yeah really popular.

They have so far found 18 people willing to pay £20 a go to fight for the right to play Darryl Fitton. Entries close later this week (I think).

No word yet on how many have paid £60 a go for the right to play Wayne Warren...

I know Clive, he lives around the corner from me. He runs the local league and can be brilliant on his day.

Results from the contender series on Saturday.
Ricky King will be playing Fitton for the 'belt' next month.

Did they ever make the final total for the England one public?

Best I can find is a draw sheet for the last 16. Either there was only 16 entries or they are too embarrased by the total number.

Oche posted a list of 18 a few days before it, so I suspect it didnt get much higher.

How many title defences is that £1.4k average based on?
