Well, I'm going to give it a go. Not been able to play competitively since February so looking forward to it.

DBG might win a few matches this way.

Actually like this format as it eliminates the dross before the points for winning games start to matter in terms of getting a card. Also gives extra incentive to play the challenge tour and Development tour.
Very good changes here, should improve the overall quality of those getting a tour card.

Hopefully they keep the basic idea for 2022 but expand it by using the results from the 2021 Q School Orders Of Merit to have players skip pre-qualifying.

Agree I would probably lean on the Challenge Tour and to a lesser extent the Development Tour Ranking to reward the form over the year but there’s definitely scope to use the Q School table as well as you say.

I imagine eventually the idea will be to link up with the MAD and WDF events (if they work with the latter) if they do manage to get off the ground next year (more likely in 2nd half of the year)

Think it would be better in future years using more challenge tour places, plus those high up in the various regional tours who choose to enter.

More incentive to play those tours and know that you will be straight into the last 128 in terms of those fighting for a card.
What regional tours do the PDC do?

And yet Beeney got a card.
So will be exempt to the final stage.

Still has to get through a field of 128 players for something like 20 cards in the U.K.
Plus the quality of all the games so be tougher, less easy draws to give you a lucky path to the late stages of a day and lots of points in the qualifying table even if you don’t get an automatic card.
Should as noted weed out much of the dross and get a higher standard of card winner.

Time to serve Big Philly with a lengthy ban, adds nothing.

Or as you keep trolling perhaps ban you for life again. Stick to darts as you are no comedian just a repetitive liar.
