PDC Challenge Tour 2021

Post by ChrisW »

Unicorn Challenge Tour European Events 1-6 - 2-4 July Niedernhausen, Germany.
Unicorn Challenge Tour UK Events 1-6 - 6-8 August Milton Keynes, U.K.
Unicorn Challenge Tour European Events 7-12 - 3-5 September Niedernhause, Germany.
Unicorn Challenge Tour UK Events 7-12 3-5 September Milton Keynes, U.K.

Some info released on the first Challenge Tour event for Germany.

Participants of the Challenge Tour in Niedernhausen will have to take note to the following information.

The event will be played in a “bubble” and all players have to arrive the day before the event starts. This is necessary as every participant has to undergo a Covid 19 rapid test.

Masks are compulsory throughout the hotel complex. This means that an FFP2 mask is compulsory to wear except at the tables and when playing or practising.

All hotel bookings must be made by email to Hotel@pdc-europe.tv by June 28 at the latest. The price for a single room incl. breakfast is 85,- €, the price for a double room is 95,- €. The hotel costs will be paid on site and do not have to be transferred in advance.

If a player does not wish to participate in all events, he must play the desired number from the first event on Friday onwards. This ensures that everyone can be tested on Thursday.

Even vaccinated or recovered persons are not exempt from the testing obligation. The costs for the test on arrival will be borne by the PDC.

One accompanying person per player is allowed, who also has to comply with the applicable Covid 19 requirements.

If players share a room and one of them shows symptoms or even tests positive, both have to leave the event and the hotel.

As the entry regulations to Germany can currently change on a daily basis, each player must find out for themselves which requirements they must fulfil for entry.

The quick test on arrival will be covered by the PDC while the players have to pay for a possible quick test before departure themselves.

The time frame for this is Sunday, July 4 from 09:00 – 16:00. The test costs 25,- € per person and has to be paid in cash on site. Players who need a test for the return journey must register it with Gabi.Brock@pdc-europe.tv by July 2 at the latest.

It is the responsibility of each player to find out which documents and proofs are necessary for their return journey.

you never see a bookie on a bike - they've made the big green bottle-job favourite for all twenty tournaments this year and he's filled their satchels every time

all they have to do is convince mugs he isn't finished, they're doing that okay
