Well i was going to update the pinned threads for the ranking but there were 3 ranking events last weekend and they havent been arsed to do an update yet, therefore I cant be arsed either.

Aye, seems you can book a room at the hotel for the week in January it would usually be on, normally its all blocked out.

Not a single room available between Sat 4th Feb and Sun 12 Feb..... I mean hard to tell if this is because the hotel is still full of the oul asylum seekers, mind.

They didn't sell any ticket+hotel combos for the April event in the end, presumably because Bomber's mates were in residence, so maybe the hotel availability doesn't signify anything. But, the Dutch Open is normally the first weekend in February, and it's a week earlier next year, so maybe it starts that first weekend in Feb?

Still not sure if that date would avoid the issue of successful players at Q-School having to ask for dispensation to play in the WDF worlds as they would have picked up their tour card, depends when the first Players Championships are next year.

Well it seems this potential clash has got some traction. Was mentioned on the recent Inside The WDF podcast and seems its more likely than I thought it would be.
