Re: WDF English Classic/Nationals (Ilfracombe 23rd-25th September)
They seem to be using something called SteelDart-Pro for scoring the matches, a German company by the looks of it. I've not been able to find anywhere that they publish the results in detail, but saw this on twitter about the tournament averages of the four semi-finalists:oche balboa wrote: ↑Tue Sep 20, 2022 8:18 pm Well this is being run by England Darts. England International Open Mens Singles (Ilfracombe) - Not WDF Ranked
Men - 123

Youth - 23
Mens Pairs - 44
Ladies Pairs - 21
Mixed Pairs - 32
Tournament average so far of the semi-finalists according to the scoringsystem SteelDart Pro:
Moreno Blom - 86,72
Daniel Perry - 79,43
Graham Hall - 89,55
Robert Owen - 84,33
Looks like England Darts is going its own way again!

Have they publicly acknowledged the recent death of one of their commentators yet?

2 Ladies finals were decent. First mens one was very sloppy

I see the commentator just said that the player had "just come inside" when throwing for a double.oche balboa wrote:A better stream

This is clearly a reference to when I came inside my house (from the outside of my house).

Very good youth final, the men's semi finals were really ragged.

Re: WDF English Classic/Nationals (Ilfracombe 23rd-25th September)
A number of good close matches, but ultimately little in the way of upsets.
Close game between Ashton and Winstanley, but Winstanley dropped off, and Ashton won it.
The Youth final was a good game, but again Littler's more solid game told in the end.
Men's Classic final was close one as well.
Women's Classic final was a 5-0 whitewash, but Ashton was always close, missing 2 single darts at a double, and being sat on a double in the other 3 legs.
But Greaves didn't slip up, including hitting d20 on a 113 checkout to turn her worst leg into a hold in 18 and 3-0. A miss could have turned the game.
