Re: Premier League 2023
Given the viewing figures from Germany for the WC, Clemens might make it now. On top of that, he got to the semi final and throws high averages and a lot of 180s.
For me…..
Smith
Wright
MvG
Price
Humphries
Cross
Aspinall
Clemens

Re: Premier League 2023
German newspaper has been reporting Clemens is in.
Re: Premier League 2023
He isn't actually joking - although the newspaper is Bild which is the German equivalent of The Sun, so make of it what you want

It might have a little traction though given the record viewing figures in Germany for the Smith/Clemens semi final allied with the PDC's love of Germany given all the ET events they play there

Re: Premier League 2023
They'll definitely be giving this some thought. By all accounts, Clement's run drew big TV numbers over there. Bild had a live text of the semi-final as their home page banner headline as it happened.
If Porter et al think there is money to be made from it, they be considering it very seriously.

Re: Premier League 2023
Barney, Clemens and Sherrock are definitely in. After all, darts is a business. Isn't that right Mr Hearn? Why have talented, deserving players in the PL when you could sell arena after arena? Such a shame, but this will all probably be true. After all, money is all that matters, right Mr Hearn?

Re: Premier League 2023
My guess is it will be the same 8 players who just played the Nordic Masters - although they may swap Cross out again and put Cullen in as last years runner up

Re: Premier League 2023
With Mace the Ace's logic, Barney, Sherrock and Clemens should be in as well. The days of Wayne Mardle in the prem are over. It's time for the big boys to step up and deliver!
