Former Dutch postman Raymond van Barneveld reached his second World final where he met Welshman Richie Burnett in a repeat of 1995's final.
This time however the Dutchman prevailed in a classic final by hitting double 8 to win the title in the deciding set and become the tournament's second overseas winner in doing so.
