Old BDO/Embassy Ranking System

The BDO ranking system has been changed many times in recent years for one reason or another, but does anyone know what the original points system used to be like?

I ask this as I remember seeing on the old SoD site that 9-10 points would have been enough to qualify for the Embassy (certainly as far as the early '90s were concerned)?
