Lifting the back heel

Hi
Question. Is the gain of 8 to 10cm closer to the board by lifting your rear heel off the floor an advantage over leaving the rear heel on the floor, but you get a more stable and more comfortable throwing platform ?

Personally I don't think you lift my rear heel to get closer to the board. I'ts just that your body naturally moves in this way when you throw something in a forward direction.

Yes Bradders I know you don't run df but you're on there a lot as far as I knew.
